You can get a one time free trial at the Guild Wars main website. There is a place there to get a free trial version. I am not sure what it needs but generally you need an active email account and some information like name and address. It would be a time limited trial.Can I Get A Guild Wars Trial For Free?
Guild Wars is free to play once you've bought it, it costs around 15 quid but after that there's no monthly charge like WOW. I don't think there's a trial version.
